Abstract

This volume of POMLIF Journal of Library and Information Science is dedicated to a theme that speaks directly to contemporary issues: Empowering polytechnic libraries in Nigeria through digital technologies is both timely and necessary. In an age defined by rapid technological change, the library is naturally undergoing a profound transformation that is no longer confined to only physical spaces and print collections. The library today must be a dynamic hub for digital learning, knowledge creation, and innovation. Polytechnic libraries in particular are uniquely positioned to drive this movement. They serve students, teachers, technologists, and researchers who are engaged in practical, technological, and vocational fields that demand fast, seamless access to information.
